Legendary Kyuss and Queen of the Stone Age bass player Nick Oliveri brings his band to Albert’s in Nottingham
The Taipan Commune pulled off a sensational coup this week, hosting Mondo Generator at Albert’s in Nottingham. Mondo Generator were formed by former Kyuss and Queens of the Stone Age bass player Nick Oliveri in 1997. Current lineup consists of Nick on bass and vocals, with Mike Pygmie (guitar) and Mike Amster (drums). The band wowed the crowd with their excellent alt. rock set. Support was provided by Alunah and Nottingham’s own Damn Craters.
