Here at LiveWire, we LOVE a good ol’ sea shanty and have covered the likes of the Fisherman’s Friends and Longest Johns before, and we can’t wait for the upcoming tour by The Old Time Sailors. A chaotic, sensory overload of 19th century music of the sea !
With dates across the UK, audiences are invited to come aboard the good ship Sailorette and join its plentiful crew for a unique night of time travel, tankards, and roaring tunes from across the high seas.
Charting a course for the 19th century, a period of intrepid nautical exploration, salty sea shanties, and raucous good-times; the Old Time Sailors invite you to an evening of traditional seafaring music like you have never experienced before.
An immersive and interactive show that pulls out all the stops, find your sea legs and join this motley crew and their eclectic array of traditional instruments as the band perform centuries old folk and shanty songs with your able assistance.
Manned by a crew of 20 accomplished musicians with 30 different instruments and an arsenal of 41 songs, the collective play fully wireless to ensure a dynamic and interactive experience.

As part of this unique show, every member of the audience will have the opportunity to purchase a copy of the ‘Sunday Sailor’, the groups’ custom-made, newspaper-styled programme which includes the lyrics to all of the songs to be performed across the night (plus personalised postal stamps!) for maximum participation. Assisting revellers with an authentic kind of drinking apparatus perfect for the occasion, official Old Time Sailors tankards will also be available to buy on the night.
