Wheel bring their unique Finnish Prog Rock to Beta @ Rock City
Having previously supported the likes of Children of Bodom, Finnish Progressive Metal band Wheel step out into the limelight as they head to Beta @ Rock City on 8 February as part of their first headline tour following the 2019 release of their excellent album’Moving Backwards’. Fronted by English born guitarist and vocalist James Lascelles, the Helsinki based quartet bring their unique style to town. Is it metal or is it rock….. neither really, it kinda both, but what it is, is an expansive and mind-blowing mix of styles influenced by the likes of Radiohead and Alice in Chains, and mixing progressive rock, grunge and swirling movie-like scores. They take well travelled musical paths and bring their own unique style to the genre.
