Papa Roach previously announced that they will be partnering with the suicide prevention charity Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) who are fighting to reduce the devastating impact of suicide in the UK. There will be a £1 donation from every ticket. CEO Simon Gunning said “We’re incredibly honoured that Papa Roach has selected CALM for their global campaign for “Leave A Light On (Talk Away The Dark). CALM has a long history of working with the music industry and we’re thrilled that the band is initiating their mission in the UK. We know how passionate they have been throughout their career about mental health - and the fact they’re donating proceeds from their ticket sales from their Wembley and Nottingham shows to our life-saving work means we’ll be able to help even more people struggling with life.”
Meanwhile the band teamed up with Carrie Underwood, when the country superstar joined them for an updated version of their hit single Leave A Light On (Talk Away The Dark). The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), will receive royalties generated from both artists from the song in perpetuity. The track has already picked up over 53.8 MILLION streams worldwide and gave Carrie Underwood a No 1 on charts she’d never conquered before.
Leave a Light On (Talk Away The Dark) is taken from Papa Roach's 2022 album “Ego Trip” which was released to widespread positive reviews. Check out the video below:
