Dark Devine release new single & video for "Burn the Witch"
Hard-rock band Dark Devine are sharing their brutal new track Burn The Witch, which is the band's first release since their debut album “Deadly Fun”, produced by Zach Jones (Chelsea Grin, We Came As Romans, Fit For A King). Dark Devine hones in on their cinematic side with Burn The Witch. The track exudes angst as whispering vocals that are complimented by the contrast of brutal screams. The song's visual paints an overall picture for the song, as embers burst onto the screen following a wicked storyline.
On the new song, lead singer Anthony Martinez states:
"'Burn the Witch' is a song about the realisation that sometimes toxicity has a lasting affect on one’s personality. Even though we may separate from toxicity, it doesn’t mean that it hadn’t turned us into the very thing that we tried to separate from. Sometimes we turn into the very evil that we are defending ourselves from in order to defend ourselves from said evil."

Burn The Witch is Dark Devine’s first release since their debut album “Deadly Fun”. The record plays with themes of the fear of different types of death from emotional, spiritual and literal. Dark Divine explores anxious feelings throughout worry and doubt as they create graveyard storylines laced in the mystery of a freak-show funhouse.
"Each song has its own message but the whole album is based on different individuals' fear of literal, spiritual, or emotional death," says Martinez about the band's debut record. "It explores what it's like going through daily life and never knowing what's around the corner, down a hallway, or in the basement. Like walking through a mystery funhouse or a creepy carnival. It's fun but also terrifying at times. Without that fear, everything would be taken for granted."

Dark Devine are Anthony Martinez (Vocals), Robby Lynch (Guitar) and Triston Blaize (Drums).
Hailing from Orlando, FL this hard rock act shows us a side of darkness that brings a sentiment of anguish mixed with a sincere notion of understanding. The band’s previous single Paper Crown (feat. Bryan Kuznitz of Fame On Fire,) is a song about "confronting people with narcissistic tendencies. It is often that we find ourselves putting our own mental health at risk in an effort to please those who only want to hurt us. The toxicity that bleeds from narcissistic personalities can greatly reduce our standards for behaviour that we are willing to tolerate." Says frontman Anthony Martinez about the single. Dancing Dead and Drown are hair-raising tracks, immersing fans in a fear-stricken world. These singles serve as follow-up songs to the band's previously released singles, found on their EP “Halloweentown” and Circles showcases Dark Devine’s horror-driven atmosphere in a theatrical way.
Conceptual ideology aside, the band brings hard hitting instrumentation and a vocal power that stands to cement the act as a fresh mainstay of the hard rock and metal genres for years to come. Dark Devine have garnered early and notable support from Octane around their song Halloweentown and playlist support from Spotify's Rock Hard and Apple Music's Breaking Metal. Dark Devine has received press support from outlets such as idobi Radio, Outburn Magazine and New Noise Magazine. “The confines of Florida have seen some absolutely epic bands make names for themselves, but it’s time to look to the future. There is a quickly rising band that is making all the right moves in all the right places. Dark Divine is playing all the right cards.” Says New Noise about the band. The band continues to grow their die-hard fanbase of "reapers" who show their devotion at every show.
They have also recently shared the stage with Famous Last Words, Limbs, Until I Wake and label mates Catch Your Breath and The Word Alive.
