A.A. Williams confirms album release for the ‘Songs from Isolation’ project
A.A. Williams made her debut in 2019 but has risen rapidly touring with the likes of Cult of Luna, Nordic Giants and the Sisters of Mercy and gaining critical acclaim for her performances. 2020 saw the release of the excellent debut album ‘Forever Blue’ which is one of our favourite releases of the year so far here at LiveWire Music. However the current pandemic situation has seen a temporary end to the live shows but the lockdown has seen many artists use the time to develop new projects and Williams’ response has been the widely acclaimed Songs from Isolation project, a collection of six video performances of incredibly emotive versions of classic songs suggested by the fans. All the songs were performed, recorded, filmed and edited from her London home. The tracks are;
‘If you could read my mind love’ (Gordon Lightfoot)
‘Creep’ (Radiohead)
‘Into my arms’ (Nick Cave)
‘Everyday is exactly the same’ (Nine Inch Nails)
‘Be quiet and drive’ (Deftones)
‘Lovesong’ (The Cure)
A.A. Williams has now confirmed that these tracks, along with four other previously unreleased songs will be released as an album. The release is scheduled for 12 February 2021 and is available in CD and Vinyl formats. The album can be pre-ordered here: https://www.aawilliamsmusic.com/songs-from-isolation
