Spear of Destiny hit the road to celebrate 35 years of ‘World Service’

Icon rock legends Spear of Destiny return to Nottingham on 16 September as they head to the Rescue Rooms for a show on their 2020 World Service Tour. Formed in 1983 by singer and songwriter Kirk Brandon and bassist Stan Stammers they have had 10 UK Singles Chart entries, four reached the Top 50 but only one made the Top 20 - "Never Take Me Alive" (in 1987). However they are best known for their single Liberator, released in 1984 which got to 67 in the singles chart.

Their icon album ‘Worldservice' was released in 1985 and reached 11 in the album charts. To mark the 35th anniversary of it’s release they will play the album in it’s entirety along with plenty of fan favourites.
