Ov Sulfur unleash new single "Untruth"

Just days ahead of kicking off their tour supporting Century Media labelmates in deathcore outfit Signs of the Swarm, Las Vegas-based blackened deathcore blasphemers Ov Sulfur have unleashed the final b-side track Untruth from acclaimed debut LP “The Burden Ov Faith" (2023). The single is available to stream on all major platforms HERE.

You can check out the visualiser as well below:

"It's funny that one of the first songs we started writing for the album is the last one we're dropping from the sessions," admits guitarist/vocalist Chase Wilson. "What you hear is what we settled on after many evolutions, with Ricky [Hoover, vocals] pleading with those who use religion as a crutch to realise they'e been terribly misled. What will it take and when will we learn that we must burn every inch of the lie that has been instilled into us from a young age?"

Ov Sulfur's Century Media debut, “The Burden Ov Faith” spans the stygian planets of deathcore, black metal, and metalcore, creating something as majestic as it is hook-laden. "It’s the Oblivion EP (2021) on steroids," says guitarist/vocalist Chase Wilson, joking, "I would almost call it 'Arena Black Metal' at points!"

The diverse and expansive album was crafted by the band alongside producer Morgoth Beatz (Winds of Plague, Scarlxrd) and mix/master maestro Josh Schroeder (Lorna Shore, Tallah); the two split engineering of vocals and drums, respectively, with former Machine Head guitarist Logan Mader stepping in to capture the guitars and bass. Purchase and stream The Burden Ov Faith now HERE.

Ov Sulfur are Ricky Hoover (Vocals), Chase Wilson (Guitar & Vocals), Ding (Bass) and Leviathvn (Drums) and The Decade of the Swarm Tour will be their first tour since a wildly successful co-headlining jaunt with fellow label- (and genre-) mates Mental Cruelty, alongside Ghost Bath and Extermination Dismemberment. This jaunt is less kvlt, finding the Century Media duo Ov Sulfur and Signs of the Swarm heading out with nu metalcore trailblazers Cane Hill, nu-metallic hardcore moshers 156/Silence and eldritch blackened deathcore ghouls A Wake In Providence, who add a more gothic take on the genre.
