The Outlaw Orchestra announce new album "Makin' Tracks"

The Outlaw Orchestra play a glorious mix of Southern Country Rock Bluegrass and consist of David Roux (Guitars & Vocals), Ryan Smith (Drums & Percussion), and Pete Briley (Banjo & Pedal Steel).

In early 2020 they released the album “Pantomine Villains”. This was a stunning mix of beautifully crafted tracks such as ‘Send Some Whiskey Home’ along with others that demonstrated their wonderful wicked lyrical sense of humour especially in tracks such as ‘Too Much Willie Nelson’ (I wonder what that ones about ?!) and ‘It Happened Again’ a song about the dangers of walking past a guitar shop with a wallet and credit card !

Fantastic from start to finish it was a worthy winner of a rare 10/10 rating in our May 2020 review. Go check it out, it’s one I still play on a regular basis !

So here at LiveWire Music we were delighted to hear that the boys are back writing and recording their next album, entitled “Makin’ Tracks” and the album is now available to pre-order. Describing the new album the band say that they’re keeping the energy levels up and it will show their range of musical tastes from hard rock to pure country, with one toe dipping in over the border into Latin American beats too.

Now’s the time to get your order in, as the band have developed a unique opportunity for fans to be a part of the album in more ways than one, with their 'Makin Tracks' Inmate Vinyl Deal.

Following the theme of jailbreak outlaws on the run, if you order the package, you will be sent a prison stripes t-shirt and an ‘Inmate’ card to write your name on. You’re then invited to take a mugshot style photo of yourself in the t-shirt holding the card and send it back in to the band the photo, not the t-shirt, you can keep that !).

Then, when the album is released on CD in October 2021, you will receive a copy ahead of the official launch date.

But there’s more…. Lots more! The vinyl edition will be produced in February 2022, delayed because of the high demands currently on vinyl manufacturers, but you will also receive a copy of this too.

And that mugshot photo you took in your prison t-shirt ? Well, all the photos submitted will be included in the vinyl edition in an outlaws gallery, and they will also be used in an upcoming video single from the album !

Not bad, and for £49.99 ! Other packages are available and further details are available now on the bands website.

I’ve got my order in already, and can’t wait to see my mugshot on the album ! This is something different and an opportunity not to miss. Here at LiveWire Music, we can’t wait to get our hands on a review copy. We’re expecting great things from the Outlaws, after their last brilliant full length album release…. No pressure then guys !
