IST IST announce new live album "On Fire"
IST IST have announced new live album “On Fire” - a document capturing the raw energy of the band at their blazing best. The album takes in all ten tracks for their latest album “Light A Bigger Fire” and was recorded at ten different shows across the UK and Europe in October and November 2024.
Chronicling the growth of the songs from the studio into the live arena, it includes recordings from iconic venues such as the Paradiso in Amsterdam and New Century in the band’s home city of Manchester.
The new live album “On Fire” will be released on 28th March 2025, and is available now to pre-order on the band’s website HERE.
“Light A Bigger Fire” peaked at number 25 in the charts in September 2024, breaking the band into the Top 40 for the first time; a genuine indie success story with the release coming on the band’s own Kind Violence Records label. You can check out our review of “Light A Bigger Fire” HERE.

“Working on this live album on the road and afterwards was a great way to cure the post-tour blues.” guitarist and keyboard player Mat Peters says on recording and mixing the live album. “We record every show, so getting the recordings wasn’t a problem, but deciding which version of each song to choose was, but a good problem to have. You know as soon as you walk off stage which ones felt right and were in contention for the final cut.”
“These songs took on a whole new power live and if you can capture that, then you should.” frontman Adam Houghton says. “When we came out of the studio in early 2024 we knew it was our strongest album to date and the fans got behind it instantly. But after months of touring it, the songs just grow and justify their place in the live set.”
