I Prevail drop stripped down version of "Deep End"
Michigan rock powerhouse I Prevail have released their latest monumental album “True Power” via Fearless Records last year, and it was followed by a sold out, two-leg tour across the U.S. and Canada then onto sold out shows in the UK where they played Wembley Arena. Well, they’re back with sharing the video for the gorgeous, stripped version of their latest single Deep End. This version of the song is laced with a haunting piano melody.
Deep End showcases I Prevail's deftness with dynamics, vacillating between tempos and emotions before the final fadeout. The song's message is as powerful as its melody, and that's precisely why the song takes hold from start to finish.
“Deep End felt special from the day we wrote it," the band says. "Being one of the most introspective tracks on the record, it became a reflection on an attempt to stop battling certain things about yourself and instead learning to accept them as a part of who you are. There's a peace to be found in that. Overall, this track allowed us to evolve the softer side of our band and we're incredibly proud of it."
After a mammoth sell out tour that included London's Wembley Arena the band return to the UK for this years Download Festival, playing main stage on Sunday 11th June in Donington.
I Prevail consist of Brian Burkheiser (vocals), Eric Vanlerberghe (vocals), Steve Menoian (guitars/bass), Dylan Bowman (guitars), and Gabe Helguera (drums) and they have been two time Grammy nominatees for Best Rock Album (for Trauma), and Best Metal Performance (for crushing lead single Bow Down), I Prevail proved that they were built to last. To date, they've racked up more than 2.7 billion global streams, have surpassed 600 million YouTube views, and saw their Hurricane single top Billboard's Mainstream Rock Airplay chart in 2020: officially the top song on U.S. rock radio at the time. A number of their singles have now been certified Gold and Platinum, and they have been praised by press far and wide, including Forbes, Billboard, The Hollywood Reporter, and NPR. I Prevail further affirm their position among the genre's elite with TRUE POWER.
