Bloodywood X Babymetal team up on new single "Bekhauf"

Bloodywood, torchbearers and metal barrier-breakers from India, have released their latest single and music video for Bekhauf. The monstrous track features an iconic collaboration with fellow international superstars Babymetal, and comes with an animated, anime video game-styled music video. 'Bekhauf' closely follows most recent single Nu Delhi, streaming now via the band's new label home Fearless Records.

You can stream Bekhauf on your favourite streaming service HERE, or watch the official video below:

On the iconic collaboration and new track, Bloodywood share:
“'Bekhauf' means 'fearless' in Hindi. It was born out of the realisation that fear can be seen as a choice, and that choice is our own. It's about using this knowledge to take control of our fears and eliminate the side of them that holds us back. It also marks our first ever collaboration. We've been waiting to find the right artists to work with, so when the possibility of the BABYMETAL collab emerged, we knew it was time. We were all fans of their music but were still surprised by the level of synergy we managed to achieve on the track. It's a trilingual song and features English, Hindi and Japanese. The fact that we tied it all together by creating an anime/video game hybrid video pushes everything to the next level. This is a piece of Asian metal history and we're proud to share it with the world.”

There's a cultural collision on Bloodywood's new single Bekhauf. The track layers Bloodywood's gloriously gruff vocals and Indian folk sonic nuances with the sweetly melodic vocals of Japan's Babymetal. The hyper fast riffing and ferocious breakdown will incite mosh pits and non-stop headbanging. Ultimately, the song reminds us that hard rock is a universal language and welcoming to all styles, ethnicities, and genders. And that's truly a beautiful and brutal thing!

Bloodywood will be embarking on a mammoth 26-date “Return of the Singh” European and UK tour, and will see them cross the continent from Italy to Scandinavia, Poland to the UK.

On returning to the EU and UK, Bloodywood couldn't be more excited: "Our very first tour back in 2019 kicked off in Europe, and we've always felt an incredible amount of support from both Europe and the UK. It’s like a second home to us. We're thrilled to be back, bringing intense riffs, hard-hitting beats, and a ton of new material, along with the classic Bloodywood energy you know and love."
